Stack Watch
Self-hosted update briefs — is it safe to update, or wait?
Disclaimer: Automated heuristics over public release notes and vulnerability databases (OSV / NVD). Can be wrong or incomplete. Always back up first and validate upgrades yourself. Stack Watch does not invent CVE IDs or issue counts. Public briefs are free; optional Pro digests use Stripe when configured.

Public briefs stay free. Pay only if you want a private weekly digest for the apps you actually run — focused on BREAKING, WAIT, and UPDATE WITH CARE.

How it works

  1. Pick apps from the Stack Watch seed list (same apps as the public site).
  2. Free: save a watchlist (manage link shown once — bookmark it). Pro: pay via Stripe Checkout.
  3. Sunday refresh generates briefs; your digest will filter to your list (email sending is stubbed until a free mail path is configured — see MONETIZE.md).

No paid third-party APIs. Stripe fees apply only when someone pays (~2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge). Hosting stays on Cloudflare’s free tier.
